Dalhousie Hilltop School hosted a series of activities to promote awareness of safe
online activities to promote awareness of safe online netiquette and to improving
students of class VI-XII to be aware and alert against cyber rimes. Taking a
proactive stance in combating today’s highly risky cyber environment, Dalhousie
Hilltop School’s “Stay Safe Online” campaign in collaboration with the Indian
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology witnessed an enthusiastic
response.
From informative quizzes and thought provoking debates, Hilltop students actively
participated to make this programme a resounding success. Upon completing the
programme, each student was given a certificate. Mrs. Poonam Dhawan, President
of the school, emphasized the need for responsible net usage and behaviour. She
encouraged the students and staff to acquire Digital Literacy – the awareness of
risks the learning of computer skills and netiquette to ensure Internet Safety.
